We’re pleased to share that the initial reports from the 2025 Great Colleges to Work For® Employee Engagement Survey are now available for your review. These early results offer meaningful insights into our workplace culture and represent an important step in our shared commitment to transparency, improvement and collaboration.

- Benefit Satisfaction Report
These represent the first set of materials received from ModernThink. Additional key deliverables, including benchmarked results, topline reports, the comment analysis report and the consultant’s findings, are expected in mid-July.

Survey Terms
To support clarity while reviewing the results, here’s a reminder of how key terms were defined in the survey:
- Institution refers to the entire College.
- Department refers to your most immediate workgroup or team.
- Senior Leadership refers to the most senior members of the institution (e.g., President, Vice Presidents and Deans).
- Supervisor refers to the individual to whom you directly report.
Interpreting Results
ModernThink reports results based on the percentage of respondents who agree with each statement:
- 75–100%: Very Good to Excellent
- 65–74%: Good
- 55–64%: Fair to Mediocre
- 45–54%: Warrants Attention
- 0–44%: Poor
What’s Next: Phases and Action Plan
We are following a phased approach to support transparency, engagement and shared ownership throughout the survey follow-up process.
- Phase 1: Initial Results
The initial reports have been shared with internal consulting groups, including E-team, CAMAT, FAMAT and the MAC Team, for early input. With this article, the results are now being shared college-wide to foster broad awareness and understanding. - Phase 2: Complete Results
Once the remaining deliverables are received from ModernThink, including benchmarked data, topline reports, the comment analysis report and the consultant’s findings, we will publish an Executive Summary via the Rogue Report to highlight key findings and provide context for the next steps. These deliverables are anticipated to be received in mid-July. - Phase 3: Review and Reflection
All employees will be invited to participate in Listening Sessions, which will begin with a brief overview of the findings and move into small-group discussions. These interactive sessions are designed for employees to reflect on the results, surface insights and share ideas. Sessions will be offered both in person and via Zoom at varied times and are tentatively scheduled for early August. - Phase 4: Action Plan Finalization
Feedback gathered from Listening Sessions and other channels will be used to update RCC’s institutional action plan. Progress updates will be shared throughout the year via future Rogue Reports and other communications to ensure momentum and transparency over time.
Looking Ahead
This is the second year of back-to-back engagement surveys to establish our baseline. We anticipate moving to a three-year cycle moving forward and will work with ModernThink to finalize that approach. In between surveys, we’ll explore ways to stay connected and continue gathering employee feedback.
