Institutional Research is excited to announce the release of a new Data Request Form! This form is designed to collect more relevant and pertinent information up front to minimize preparation time and expedite turn-around times.
There are a few things to note:
Given the numerous projects Institutional Research is involved with (e.g., the ERP move), a lead time of at least two weeks advanced notice is needed for all requests. While not all projects will require this much time to complete, this time is needed to manage and prioritize department workload.
Any urgent projects requiring turnaround within two weeks require written approval from a vice president or dean. This approval allows us to balance workload in relationship to overall college priorities.
When making your request, please read the form carefully and provide as much detail as you can. Include any related grants, specific dates, terms, section numbers, etc.
Please do not submit student names, ID’s, emails, or any other Personally Identifiable Information (PII) on the data request form. Including this information is a violation of FERPA and RCC policy. Once the request is received, IR staff will reach out to discuss any additional data requirements. If you do not hear from us after 24 hours, please reach out via email or Teams to follow up on your request. You may access the form here.
Thank you for doing your part in keeping our students’ data safe and we look forward to receiving your requests and working together. Please direct any questions to Leslie Cox at firstname.lastname@example.org or Kayla Rasson at email@example.com.
