MEDFORD, Oregon (May 28, 2025) – The Rogue Community College (RCC) Music Department will present two Medford concerts in June showcasing the talents of its student musicians, offering the community a chance to enjoy a variety of timeless and dynamic music.
The RCC Riverside Chorus, directed by Pam Nordquist, will perform “Timeless Classics: An Evening of Enduring Music and Song” at 7 p.m. on Monday, June 9 at First United Methodist Church, 601 W. Main St., Medford. The program will feature beloved choral works spanning generations.
Directed by Chiharu Sai, the RCC Chamber Music Ensemble will present “Classical and Jazzy Serenades” at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, June 10 in Room 132 of the RCC/SOU Higher Education Center, 101 S. Bartlett St., Medford. This concert will include an eclectic mix of classical pieces and lively jazz selections.
Admission to both concerts is free, and donations to support the RCC Music Department are gratefully accepted. These performances highlight the creativity and dedication of RCC’s student musicians and offer a wonderful opportunity for community members to experience local talent in an intimate setting.
