Please join RCC in welcoming Richard Plott as the college’s new Chief Information Officer (CIO). He and his wife, Patricia, recently relocated from Texas and are excited to begin this new chapter in Southern Oregon.
Richard brings more than 30 years of experience in education and technology leadership, with deep expertise in systems integration, cybersecurity and digital transformation. He is dedicated to promoting transparency, accountability and innovation in IT operations and is passionate about building collaborative, service-oriented teams to enhance the experience of both students and staff.
His current priorities include strengthening RCC’s IT infrastructure, improving response times and implementing structured reporting and project tracking systems. He is also committed to fostering a culture of continuous improvement, professional development and cross-departmental communication.
Richard enjoys mentoring emerging tech leaders and finding creative solutions to complex challenges. RCC is thrilled to welcome his leadership and vision to the team.
