Be sure to check the Rogue Report regularly for updates on new opportunities.

Upcoming professional development hosted by Open Oregon Educational Resources:

  • Equity and Open Education Teaching & Learning Support Cohort Registration is open through March 25. Participants will earn a $200 stipend upon completion of “Part 1- Explore” (April 8-May 3, 2024) and will have the option to earn an additional $300 stipend in “Part 2- Implement” (May 6-31, 2024).
  • Student-Centered Course Material Procurement Models. The current campus store model isn’t working for any stakeholder. How can we proactively get out of our campus store doom loop? Open Oregon Educational Resources and the Orbis Cascade Alliance invite you to a virtual half-day meeting to bring together OER champions, librarians, store managers, business officers, instructors, students and other relevant stakeholders in Oregon. Conversation will be held from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. on May 3, 2024.
  • Spring 2024 Virtual OER Review Workshops will take place on May 13 from 12-1 p.m.; May 14 from 5-6 p.m.; and May 15 from 12-1 p.m. After the workshop, you’ll receive a stipend for writing a review of an open educational resource.
