July 10: Celebrate CCC President’s Arrival at Redwood Campus

The RCC Foundation invites all employees and students to join in a powerful moment of unity and support for our students and the greater community college system.

On Thursday, July 10, President Tim Cook of Clackamas Community College will arrive at RCC’s Redwood Campus Rogue Bowl at 9 a.m. as part of his Run for Oregon Community College Students (ROCCS) campaign—a 1,500-mile, 50-day journey to all 17 of Oregon’s community colleges to raise awareness and funds for students facing critical needs like housing, food insecurity, childcare and transportation barriers.

Please arrive by 8:45 a.m. to join us in giving President Cook a warm RCC welcome! This will be a short and spirited opportunity to cheer him on and show our collective support for this extraordinary cause.

If you would like to further support our students, donations to the RCC Emergency Fund are gratefully accepted via the RCC Foundation website. These funds help our students stay in school by addressing urgent needs when they have nowhere else to turn.

Thank you for showing up for our students—and for being part of a college community that cares deeply.
