Learn About New Website at Zoom Workshop

Thank you to everyone across the college who contributed feedback, reviewed content and supported this project over the past year. The new website reflects input from students and employees and is designed to make it easier for prospective and current students to find the information they need.

Join a Drop-In Workshop

The Marketing & Communications team is hosting a drop-in session via Zoom on Friday, Oct. 2, to help employees become familiar with the new website. The session will include a brief tour of the site, highlight key changes and provide time for questions.

Have Feedback or Need a Change?

As you explore the new site, you may notice updated navigation, reorganized content, and a fresh look that reflects RCC’s updated brand. We tried to capture existing links that will continue to work through URL redirects, though you may want to update saved bookmarks as you become familiar with the new website. If you land on a 404 page because of a link you clicked, please notify Elizabeth Butler and include the resource (webpage, PDF, printed material, QR code, etc.) you used to get there.

If you discover an issue that you believe requires immediate attention, please contact Elizabeth Butler by email or Teams so it can be evaluated as quickly as possible. It’s normal to discover opportunities for improvement after a website launch.

If you have a content update to request, please coordinate with your supervisor or your dean to submit a Marketing Work Order with your requested updates. This helps us track requests, coordinate updates and prioritize work effectively.

The Marketing & Communications team will review requests and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure changes support a consistent, effective user experience across the website.

Review Printed Materials

Now that the new website is live, please take a few minutes to review your department’s printed materials, including brochures and flyers, as well as banners and signage. Look for website links and QR codes that may point to outdated pages or no longer reflect the new website structure.

If updates are needed, submit a Marketing Work Order for assistance. The Marketing & Communications team can help update materials, create new QR codes and provide easy-to-remember short URLs for print pieces. We like to use short URLs such as roguecc.edu/counseling, instead of the full web address. Short URLs are easier to read, type and remember, and they’re more likely to remain consistent over time. Don’t have or know your department’s short URL? Reach out to Elizabeth Butler for guidance.

Thank you again for your partnership, patience and support throughout this project.
