New ‘How to Respond to an Emergency’ Posters

Rogue Community College has introduced new “How to Respond to an Emergency” posters, now displayed in classrooms, offices and public spaces across all campuses. These posters provide students, staff and visitors with clear, quick guidance on what to do in different emergency situations.

The posters highlight key actions for medical emergencies, fire, earthquake, evacuation, shelter, secure and lockdown. Each step is laid out in simple, easy-to-follow language to help ensure safety and preparedness in emergencies or disasters.

To make the posters more useful:

  • A QR code for accessibility links to a Spanish-language version of the poster.
  • A QR code at the top of the poster takes you directly to the page where you can sign up for RCC Emergency Alerts, helping you stay informed during critical situations.

If you currently have an older personal version of the poster in your office or workspace, please visit RCC Emergency Management to download and print the updated version, available as a PDF. Replacing outdated posters ensures that everyone has access to the most accurate and up-to-date safety information.

The goal is to make emergency response information easy to find, simple to follow, and available to everyone on campus. By placing these posters in common areas, we’re helping make sure that safety resources are visible and usable at a moment’s notice.

Preparedness starts with awareness—thank you for helping make RCC a safer place for everyone.
