JACKSON and JOSEPHINE COUNTIES (March 12, 2026) – The Rogue Community College Dental Assistant program is accepting applications through May 17 for the fall 2026 cohort.
Dental assisting is a three-term special admissions program that begins fall term and culminates with a practicum in a dental office. Several prerequisite courses are required before starting the program.
Attending an information session is mandatory prior to applying to the program. Info sessions will be held today, March 12, via Zoom at 3 p.m. and March 30 at 10 a.m. The Zoom link is available at roguecc.edu/dental or by emailing dentalinfo@roguecc.edu.
Dental assistants perform a variety of clinical and administrative tasks including preparing patients for procedures and surgeries, charting, taking radiographs, making dental impressions, registering patients, scheduling appointments and assisting with insurance and billing.
Dental assisting classes are offered at the RCC Redwood Campus in Grants Pass and Table Rock Campus in White City. RCC also offers a two-year associate degree program in Dental Hygiene at Table Rock Campus.
