Jackson and Josephine counties — Rogue Community College (RCC) is hosting three free open house events this month for the public to “Discover the Possibilities at RCC,” including academic programs as well as the college’s diverse non-academic offerings.
Events are scheduled on different dates for each campus. During each event, individuals and families may enjoy food and fun activities.
- Aug. 16, 2023 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Riverside Campus, 114 S. Bartlett St. in downtown Medford.
- Aug. 22, 2023 from 3 p.m. – 7 p.m. at the Table Rock Campus, 7800 Pacific Ave., White City).
- Aug. 29, 2023 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Redwood Campus, 3345 Redwood Highway, Grants Pass.
Campus visitors will be able to meet instructors, talk with admissions specialists, tour the campus, learn about the application and registration process, and discover ways to pay for college through financial aid, scholarships and military benefits. Fall term registration is now open and enrollment assistance will be available. Classes begin Sept. 25.
Guests will learn more about RCC’s short-term certificate programs that lead to high-paying technical careers; transfer programs to four-year colleges and universities; continuing education; and non-credit opportunities for senior learners over the age of 62.
In addition to receiving answers about the RCC experience, attendees will also be able to see behind the scenes as guides bring visitors on tours of many of the college’s high-tech labs and classrooms.
“Several guests who attended our open house last spring shared how impressed they were, both with our state-of-the-art facilities and the warm welcome they received from campus staff and faculty with an opportunity to get college business done,” said RCC Director of Admissions and Recruitment Tiffany Malsberger.
There will be an opportunity for campus visitors to win a free Continuing Education class when they attend an event.
