Enjoy the ride to Portland in a clean, luxurious and comfy charter bus while we play games, sing songs, eat snacks and learn fun facts about our RCC colleagues. While at the conference, listen to keynote speakers presenting on navigating the “AI Frontier” as well as new instructional practices for active learning that support different levels of understanding. Gain amazing insights at a comprehensive selection of breakout sessions that are highly relevant to your day-to-day work. There will also be fun karaoke nights!

When: Pre-conference on Feb. 7 and the conference is Feb. 8-9, 2024
Why: We want to have a broad representation of RCC’s departments. We also know that all of you support the recruitment and retention of students at an individual and institutional level, so this conference is a great opportunity for everybody!
Where: Sheraton Portland Airport Hotel & Conference Center
8235 Northeast Airport Way, Portland, Oregon 97220
How: Register on the Student Success and Retention Conference website. Registration cost is $250 and the hotel is $150 per night. Transportation is no charge if riding the bus which leaves at 8 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 7 and returns Friday, Feb. 9 directly after conference ends.
We’ll wear coordinating RCC shirts and hoodies. Our Ospreys Spirit will be the envy of all the other colleges!
