JACKSON COUNTY (Dec. 18, 2025) – Rogue Community College’s dental assistant and dental hygiene students are offering full-mouth sets of X-rays free of charge during winter term, Jan. 5 to March 20, at the Table Rock Campus in White City. This hands-on opportunity is part of the students’ radiology lab training, preparing them for clinical examinations.
At the RCC Dental Hygiene Clinic, full-mouth X-rays are typically offered for $30, making this limited-time opportunity an even greater value for qualifying patients.
Qualifying patients:
- Must have at least 24 fully erupted teeth (visible and present in the mouth).
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be eligible for a full-mouth X-ray, meaning you have not had a full-mouth X-ray within the last three years.
A full-mouth set of X-rays typically includes 18 individual films and can cost up to $250 at a private dental office. By participating, patients help students hone their skills while receiving X-rays at no cost. Upon request, the X-rays can be sent to your dental provider.
In addition to X-rays, the RCC Dental Hygiene Clinic offers free screenings as well as a range of affordable preventive services and treatments, including sealants, fluoride treatments, debridement and laser therapy.
Carmen Mons, director of RCC Dental Programs, emphasized the value of this initiative: “This program not only benefits our students by providing essential clinical experience, but also serves our community by offering high-quality, low-cost dental services. We’re grateful for the community’s support in helping our students succeed.”
