Safety Reminder: Responding to Fire Alarms

Recently, the Redwood Campus experienced a fire alarm activation, which was later determined to be a false alarm. This serves as an important reminder about how we can all help maintain a safe campus environment.

During any fire alarm activation, it is essential that everyone immediately exit the building and move away from it to a safe distance. Please do not reenter until Campus Security or Fire Department personnel give the official “all clear.”

It’s important to note that the fire alarm system may sometimes be silenced while the cause is being investigated, but this does not mean the building is safe to reenter. Only Campus Security or Fire Department personnel can determine when it is safe to go back inside.

Your cooperation ensures the safety of everyone on campus. Thank you for taking fire alarms seriously and following evacuation procedures every time they occur.
