Verify Your Emergency Contact in myRogue

As part of recent updates to the Emergency Notification System, Risk Management has auto-enrolled all employees into the program. This ensures everyone receives timely information in the event of a weather closure, active shooter, fire or other urgent emergency.

To make sure we can reach you effectively, please log into the myRogue portal and review your emergency contact information (see the Student Forms tab). If you see contact information or methods you no longer wish to use, please go ahead and make those updates.

Important reminders when updating your information:

  • Do not list your employee email address. All employee emails are already automatically included in our notifications.
  • You are welcome to include your Zoom phone number, but please do not set it as your primary phone number since you may not always be at your desk.
  • Be sure your primary phone number is the one where you can be reached most quickly in an emergency (such as your mobile phone).
  • You must check the box next to each emergency contact option you wish to receive notifications through (text, phone call, etc.). If the box is not checked, that method will not be used.

Keeping your information current ensures Risk Management can communicate with you when it matters most. Thank you for helping us maintain a safe and informed campus community.
