Rogue Community College welcomes Melody Farr as full-time faculty in Visual Arts & Design (VAD).
Originally from Los Angeles, Melody earned her bachelor’s degree in Cinema Arts & Sciences with a focus in 3D Animation from Columbia College Chicago and a master’s in animation from The University of the West of England.
Melody has worked in the television industry for nearly eight years doing motion graphics, visual effects (VFX), animation and post-production at studios such as The CW and The BBC Natural History Unit. More recently, she taught art and design at a secondary school in England, as well as media studies at an online vocational school.
Outside of work, Melody enjoys traveling whenever she can, exploring new artistic mediums, reading fantasy novels and spending time with her (very clingy) cat.
