Please join us in giving a warm welcome to our new Chief Financial Officer, Michael Pollock! Today marks his first day, and we’re thrilled to have him join the RCC family.
Michael grew up in Grants Pass, where he currently lives with his wife and their two sons. Prior to his role at RCC, he was the acting CFO for the Montana VA Healthcare System. He has served in several financial and accounting roles in Southern Oregon — private and governmental accounting.
When not working, Michael enjoys watching college sports and spending time with his family. Many of his weekends are spent at various ball fields watching or coaching his son’s sports teams.
A veteran of the U.S. Navy, Michael served in the Navy Reserves during the last 16 years, completing deployments overseas to Afghanistan and Guantanamo Bay.
Michael graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business from Western Oregon University, where he focused on accounting. He furthered his education by earning a Master of Business Administration from Regis University out of Denver, Colorado. Michael comes from a family of educators, adding to the excitement for his role at RCC. He is excited about this opportunity and looking forward to serving the college and community in this role.
