Katherine grew up on military bases across Europe before making her way to Oregon, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Portland. She brings experience in both nonprofit and corporate finance to our team, most recently as a financial analyst for Pacific Retirement Services. She is also currently pursuing her Master of Business Administration from Oregon State University.
Katherine’s love of exploration has taken her all over the globe. She has traveled to 32 countries and between the two of them, she and her husband have lived in six different countries. Though they both came to the Rogue Valley from far-flung places, it’s the home they’ve chosen, and they couldn’t be happier to call it their own.
On the weekends, Katherine is an avid runner and has completed Hood to Coast six times and recently crossed the finish line at the Cascade Lakes Relay.
Coming from a family of educators, she is especially excited about this opportunity. Having put down roots in the Rogue Valley by choice, she’s looking forward to giving back to the community she calls home and to serving the students and staff of RCC in this role.
Outside of work, Katherine recently got married, and she’s proud to serve as chief taste tester for her husband’s cooking — a job she takes very seriously. On the weekends, you can usually find the two of them chasing waterfalls (literally) and planning their next adventure.
