JACKSON and JOSEPHINE COUNTIES (June 24, 2025) – Southern Oregon small business owners are invited to apply for the 2025-26 Small Business Management Program offered by the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Rogue Community College (RCC). This nationally recognized program provides hands-on training, mentorship and guidance to help businesses grow and succeed.
The first 20 applicants will be eligible for a half-tuition scholarship—a $300 value, made possible through the RCC Board of Education.
Graduates of the Small Business Management Program have consistently demonstrated measurable success in revenue growth, team development and long-term business sustainability. Past participants have reported improvements in:
- Financial analysis and performance tracking.
- Online marketing and expanded sales.
- Lean processes and quality improvement techniques.
- Team building and employee engagement.
The program spans nine months and includes:
- Monthly in-person classes held on Tuesdays from 2-5 p.m.
- One-on-one business coaching tailored to individual needs.
- Guest lectures from subject matter experts.
- Peer networking and collaborative learning.
2025-26 Program Schedule:
- 2025: Oct. 7, Nov. 4, Dec. 2
- 2026: Jan. 6, Feb. 3, March 3, March 31, May 5, June 2
This program is designed for business owners who have been operating for at least one year. The full tuition is $618, but qualifying early applicants will pay only $318. Comparable programs elsewhere can cost up to $3,500.
