Name: Kevin Partier
Core Values: Collaboration

Reason: With many changes occurring across the RCC campuses, Kevin has been a huge support to me and the Academic Success and Library departments I lead. Kevin is very communicative, taking the initiative to provide updates about ongoing IT projects, being flexible to find solutions, and checking back in as projects are completed. I know Kevin is a very busy person, but even when I catch him in passing and check in with him, he always takes the time to give his attention and answer questions. Kevin has such a great attitude and is a delight to work with.

Name: David Snell
Core Values: Integrity; Collaboration; Diversity, Equity and Inclusion; Sustainability; Courage

Reason: Thank you, David, for helping to ensure that College Now teachers have the most up-to-date information available so they can teach to RCC standards. Having RCC assignments, quizzes and tests available for College Now teachers to access gives College Now students a true college experience. You are appreciated by High School Partnerships!

Name: Roz Mendoza
Core Values: Integrity; Collaboration; Diversity, Equity and Inclusion; Sustainability; Courage

Reason: Roz, thank you for always “jumping in” no matter what the needs are of High School Partnerships. Your help with registering a College Now student, opening a class for registration, or just being all-around awesome when we have an “emergency” is very appreciated! THANK YOU!!

Name: Egan Addison
Core Values Collaboration & Sustainability

Reason: I would like to recognize Egan for his continued support and problem-solving related to the conference room technology in the H Building. Over the past several months, we have experienced recurring issues with the room setup that significantly impacted meetings and daily work. When the mouse, keyboard or displays were not functioning as expected, meetings slowed, productivity suffered and last-minute troubleshooting was often required right as meetings started.  Egan was consistently responsive, patient and kind every time I reached out for help. He regularly arrived in the conference room within minutes of a ticket being submitted and took the time to thoroughly troubleshoot, whether that meant adjusting the setup on the spot or finding a temporary workaround so meetings could continue. When vendor involvement was required, he still focused on keeping things running in the meantime. What stood out most was Egan’s persistence and thoughtful approach to finding a long-term solution. He worked through multiple options for the mouse and keyboard, testing different configurations and equipment until we landed on a reliable setup. We ultimately landed on a third version of the mouse-and-keyboard setup, which is now working consistently and reliably. That stability has made a real difference by keeping meetings on track and avoiding repeated disruptions. Thank you so much, Egan, for your help and support! Your collaboration is greatly appreciated!

Name: Fred DeLong
Core Values: Collaboration; Diversity, Equity and Inclusion; Courage

Reason: Fred has been incredibly helpful with student email updates for legal name changes and spelling corrections. He consistently responds quickly and is always willing to jump in when we have a student on the phone or an urgent need, ensuring students can log in and stay on track with their coursework. Fred communicates clearly and kindly, and he goes the extra mile to collaborate and clarify questions so the work is completed efficiently and correctly. His reliable support is truly appreciated by all of us!

Name: Lynn Gladman & Fiona Nevin
Core Values: Integrity; Collaboration; Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

Reason: I was so grateful to these two women who came alongside me and helped me get on track. I feel more confident now to move forward and succeed. Great job making your new students feel welcomed and informed.

Name: Rusty Riis
Core Values: Integrity; Collaboration; Diversity, Equity and Inclusion; Sustainability; Courage

Reason: The financial aid team had been working with students who had billing concerns. I mentioned this to Rusty and he was on top of it, coordinating information with other folks on campus to address the concern and resolve it quickly in a student-friendly manner. I truly appreciate how approachable Rusty is, and his collaboration and go-getter attitude. Thank you for your support, Rusty!

Name: Roz Mendoza
Core Values: Sustainability

Reason: Roz developed Smartsheet workflows for both the “Suspected Bots and Bad Actors” submission and review process and the late add/drop process, two time-sensitive processes that require action from and communication between multiple departments. Prior to Smartsheet automation, individual staff were manually composing multiple emails as students moved through each process. Tracking the status of each situation was cumbersome and sometimes felt chaotic. Roz not only brought order to our lives (thank you, Roz!!), but also streamlined processes and communications, preserving employee time, college resources and minimizing human errors and omissions. I appreciate you taking the time and collaborating to develop these automations, Roz. Thank you.
