Anna Manley has joined the TRIO University Transfer team on the Redwood Campus.
Anna has a vast amount of knowledge and experience which will be a great benefit to our students in her new role as Program Specialist. Anna was hired by Tenison Haley, RCC’s first Dean of Students, in March of 1997 as the Assistant Director of Financial Aid during the annexation of Jackson County. She was promoted to Financial Aid Director in 2001 and served until 2018.
When RCC’s enrollment peaked, she and the team distributed up to $45 million annually in aid to students. In July of 2018, she transitioned to the Scholarship Coordinator position for the RCC Foundation, accepted an Interim Executive Director position and helped to double the scholarship program from around $450,000 to nearly $900,000.
Anna says, “It’s been a privilege to work with such dedicated, talented and caring people over the years, to serve a community made up of so many friends and facilitate student experiences that have demonstrated meaningful growth. I’m so thankful for this next season, and directly supporting students as they reach for their goals.”
