Respect Posters on Campus

You might have noticed some “Respect” posters going up around our campuses lately. Did you know RCC has an administrative procedure titled Respectful College Community? You can find the full text of AP-3053 on our website, but we wanted to highlight that, at RCC, employees, students, vendors and members of the general public are expected to:

  1. Treat all employees, students and members of the general public with dignity and respect in their behavior and their communications when they are on campus or involved in a college activity;
  2. Accept responsibility for the appropriateness of their own conduct; and
  3. Comply with all laws, policies, procedures or contracts applicable to workplace and academic behavior.

The Harassment & Discrimination Response Team collaborated with Marketing & Communications to create the posters as a visual reminder of that expectation which aligns with our core value of integrity.

We encourage you to take a moment to read AP-3053, and if you would like a smaller version of the poster for your work space, click here to download and print an 8.5×10” copy. If you would like a large-format poster, email DEI Student Assistant Joslyn Hernandez at JLHernandez@roguecc.edu.

Thank you for doing your part to make RCC a great and respectful place to learn and work!
