Please join me in welcoming Jessica Jones to her new role as Financial Aid Operations Coordinator!
In this position, Jessica will work as the back office Processing Lead to ensure timely awarding, assist with software maintenance and updates, assist with Jenzabar implementation, and work with other campus departments for information sharing and annual reports.
Jessica started working at RCC in 2001 and discovered a passion for supporting community college students. Striking a balance between family and work, she’s spent 13 of the last 21 years serving RCC students in a variety of positions in the Counseling department, Enrollment Services, Financial Aid, Career Services and Student Life. The majority of her time has been in the Financial Aid back office processing files – she loves the work and people and she misses the connection with students!
When she’s not processing financial aid, Jessica is with her family, chasing the toddler and preschooler while helping her 17- and 20-year-old daughters navigate adulting and college. If she had free time, she would watch more movies with her husband, read, play Scrabble, and spend time with friends.
