RCC has implemented an updated Underage Enrollment Form and process to help ensure the college meets Oregon requirements for enrolling students under the age of 18. Students who are under 18 must complete the Underage Enrollment Form, regardless of high school graduation status, and a parent or guardian signature is required except in limited approved circumstances.
The form is now completed electronically through DocuSign and should not be printed and completed manually. Students can access the form through the link associated with their underage enrollment hold in J1/myRogue or from RCC’s Enrollment Forms for Students webpage. Students who are 16 or 17 do not need to provide additional attachments, while students under 16 may be required to upload supporting documentation based on whether they attend high school or are home-schooled.
Once the student completes their portion, DocuSign electronically routes the form to the parent or guardian for signature. High School Partnerships then reviews the completed submission and removes the underage enrollment hold once all requirements have been met. Please allow up to one business day for processing, although most complete forms are processed sooner.
For employees: If a student says they submitted the form but still has a hold, check Advisor Notes in J1 before referring the student to High School Partnerships. Notes will indicate whether the form was received complete or identify what is missing. Students with incomplete submissions are also emailed with instructions about what they still need to provide.
Questions about the Underage Enrollment process can be directed to High School Partnerships at HSP@roguecc.edu or call 541-500-4274.
