Jackson and Josephine counties – The Rogue Community College (RCC) Foundation is seeking nominations for the 2023 Outstanding Alumni Award given annually to a former student who has attended or graduated from RCC. The deadline for nominations is April 21, 2023.
“Rogue Community College has many alumni who have gone on from RCC to contribute greatly to our communities,” said Jodi Simons, RCC Foundation interim executive director. “The RCC Foundation is committed to honoring these individuals and began this award to celebrate the positive impacts of our alumni.”
Established in 2008, the Outstanding Alumni Award is presented to an individual who demonstrates success in their business, profession or other vocational endeavors; success in their community, civic and/or volunteer activities; and/or significant contributions to the betterment of society through involvement in their community, public school systems, charitable organizations or other humanitarian undertakings.

Recipients of the award are invited as guests of honor to the annual RCC President’s Circle event, this year planned for Sept. 28, 2023. Additionally, winners are recognized at RCC’s spring in-service for faculty and staff. Honorees are also listed on the Foundation website’s Outstanding Alumni Award section.
