Remembering RCC’s 4th President

Rick Levine was president of Rogue Community College from 1999-2004.

Rick Levine, the fourth president of Rogue Community College, passed away last month at home. His wife Ellen was also one of RCC’s early instructors. She writes the following:

“Rick Levine, my husband, my confidante, my ally, my best friend, and so much more, died April 24, 2023, at 8 pm. He fought a valiant 12-year battle against cancer but now he can rest in peace. He will be remembered by many for his accomplishments: RCC President, Chemeketa CC Vice-President, and so many other leadership positions. His family and friends will remember him as a good man who was loyal, honest and always ready to lend a helping hand. He was a good person, a good husband, father and grandfather, brother, uncle and so much more. Rick, I will hold you in my heart until forever.” – Ellen

No services are scheduled at this time. To honor Rick, the family invites you to make a donation to the Levine Family Scholarship through the RCC Foundation at www.roguecc.edu/foundation.
