Welcome to spring term!

We’re ready to put winter to bed and welcome the sunshine. We hope you’re ready to rock this term, and we’re here to help.

Student Services is open Mondays and Tuesdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on all three campuses. Click for locations. (Note that Financial Aid staff will not be available April 12-16 due to training.) We also host a myRogue Zoom Room where you can get help with quick questions or navigating myRogue from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. If we can’t answer your question, we’ll connect you with someone who can.

Note that the deadline to add or drop a class without penalty is April 13, and you can find more important dates on the academic calendar.


 Attention student veterans! RCC Veterans Services is hosting a Peer Support Forum where you can connect with other student veterans who may be experiencing similar issues. Test anxiety? Sleep issues? Meet up at 1 p.m. Thursdays (April 15-May 13) to chat on Zoom. You’re welcome to attend one session or all.


Need a COVID-19 vaccine? RCC is hosting a free drive-thru vaccination clinic on Thursday, April 15 at Redwood Campus in partnership with Valley Immediate Care. The clinic is open to RCC students and employees who live in Josephine County, as well as their immediate household. Pre-registration is required.


Are you completing your program this spring or summer? Congrats! It’s time to apply for graduation. Apply by April 16 to make sure your name appears in graduation publications. You must apply for graduation — even if you’re not planning to participate in commencement.

The 50th RCC Commencement will be Saturday, June 19. This special Car-mencement will be a drive-thru processional through the Redwood Campus (Grants Pass) with an opportunity to walk across the commencement stage. Times will be staggered to help traffic flow smoothly. Cap and gown ordering is available but not required.


Do you have an amazing instructor who deserves recognition? The RCC Faculty Senate wishes to recognize teaching and service excellence at RCC. Nominations for Faculty Senate Awards are open now through April 21.


The RCC Diversity Programming Board has some cultural awareness events coming up via Zoom:

  • Teatro Milagro will present “¡HUELGA!”, a historical narrative showcasing the struggles and accomplishments of labor rights activist and union organizer Dolores Huerta who co-founded the United Farm Workers. The free program is from 6-8 p.m. April 22.
  • Courageous Conversations will discuss “Environmental Racism.” Join the conversation from noon-1 p.m. April 27.

 In honor of Sexual Assault Awareness Month, RCC Counseling is hosting social media events to spread awareness and help build safe online spaces. There are opportunities to win gift cards!
