Bucks Benefit Students – $1 Clothing Sale at Rogue Community College 

Community donations support RCC student scholarships

Grants Pass, OR – March 21, 2022 – After being on hold for more than two years, the American Association of Women in Community College-Rogue Community College Chapter (AAWCC-RCC) is excited to announce the $1 Clothing Sale is back!

The whole community is invited to shop and support the RCC Foundation student scholarship fundraising event, hosted by AAWCC-RCC. The fundraiser will be held April 20, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Rogue Community College Redwood Campus (RWC) Student Center, 3345 Redwood Highway in Grants Pass.

Celebrating the spirit of Earth Day, buyers may purchase clean and gently worn clothing and accessories for men, women and children of all ages that were donated by members of the community.

Clean clothing and accessory donations are also sought and are tax-deductible through the RCC Foundation. Items may be dropped off during business hours 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday at the following locations: Redwood Campus: Pam Green, TRiO-SSS office, L Building, 3345 Redwood Highway, Grants Pass; Riverside Campus: Anna Holst, TRiO-SSS office, Student Success Center, 227 E. 9th St., Medford; Table Rock Campus: Carmen Mons, Dental Assisting office, C building, Room 161, 7800 Pacific Ave., White City.

Volunteers to help with the event are also welcome. The association seeks assistance from college students, employees, and community members. Help is needed to set up the sale items on April 19, and on April 20, the day of the sale, to upkeep the donation tables and pack up leftovers for donation to the Gospel Rescue Mission. AAWCC-RCC has increased contributions to student scholarships and programs annually since 2006 and offer their full appreciation for the support received from the community.
