Jenzabar ‘Go Live’: Smooth Transition Planned for August 2024

Rogue Community College is eagerly preparing for the implementation of the Jenzabar software system. The college has announced that the “Go Live” schedule is set to commence on Aug. 2, 2024. To ensure a seamless transition, RCC will follow a phased approach, gradually introducing the new system module by module.

The transition process will begin with a “Go Dark” period from Aug. 2-4, 2024. During this time, the final data extract from RogueNet, RCC’s current system, will be completed. This critical step allows for a secure transfer of all necessary data to the Jenzabar platform.

Following the data extract, RCC will move into the final data validation phase, taking place from Aug. 5-9, 2024. This thorough review and validation process will ensure the accuracy and integrity of the migrated data. Any potential issues or discrepancies can be identified and addressed promptly, ensuring a robust foundation for the new system.

Starting on Aug. 12, 2024, RCC will gradually begin using the Jenzabar software, module by module. This phased approach enables the college to identify and address any problems or challenges early on, allowing for efficient troubleshooting before opening additional modules. By taking the time to implement each module carefully, RCC aims to ensure a smooth transition and minimize any potential disruptions to operations.

During this transitional period, it is important to note that student registration and payment functionalities will not be available on either RogueNet or Jenzabar. However, RCC is actively developing alternative processes to minimize any inconvenience. Students will have the option to register through a paper-based system, ensuring a smooth enrollment process. Additionally, payments can be made through the online Marketplace, providing a convenient solution for financial transactions.

RCC is committed to providing clear communication and support throughout the transition process. Updates and instructions will be shared regularly to keep students and staff informed and engaged. The college’s dedication to a successful implementation of Jenzabar reflects its commitment to enhancing operations and improving the overall learning experience for the RCC community.

As the “Go Live” date approaches, RCC will continue to provide additional information and necessary support to ensure a seamless transition for all stakeholders. The college is excited about the potential of the Jenzabar software system and looks forward to the positive impact it will have on its operations.
