Something new is launching at RCC — and it’s powered by student creativity.
Rogue Currents, RCC’s new student magazine for literature and the arts, will debut in June 2026, and submissions are now open for the inaugural issue. If you write, create, perform, design or experiment with art, this is your chance to share your work with the RCC community and beyond.
The magazine welcomes original student work in creative nonfiction, fiction, poetry, visual art and performance art. Whether you’ve written a short story, crafted a poem, created a painting or photograph, or recorded a spoken-word performance, Rogue Currents wants to feature the diverse voices and talents of RCC students.
Right now, the editorial team is especially eager to receive visual art and recorded performance submissions — including drawings, paintings, digital art, photography, sculpture images, video performances, music recordings and spoken-word pieces.
Think of the magazine as a creative showcase — part gallery, part stage and part storytelling space — where RCC students can share ideas and connect through art.
The submission deadline is April 24, 2026.
