New Human Services Coordinator Emily Holgen

Emily Hogen

Please welcome Emily Holgen to her new role as a full-time faculty member in the Social Science/Human Services department. Emily will also be stepping into the role of Human Services Coordinator. Emily grew up in the Rogue Valley and earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Southern Oregon University and a master’s in mental health counseling from Western Washington University.

Emily is a licensed professional counselor and has worked in the field of mental health for over 10 years in a variety of roles and positions, including direct care, diagnostics and administration. She has been teaching at RCC as an adjunct faculty member for about a year and is very excited to be joining this community in a full-time capacity.

In Emily’s spare time, she enjoys snuggling and playing with her super cute dog, eating good food and being in nature. According to Emily, “I’ve found passion and joy in teaching and hope to continue in this role for a LONG time!!”
